Dr. Feredun Azari received the Poster of Distinction Award at the 2017 American Transplant Congress in Chicago. The research conducted along with Dr. Rauf Shahbazov was received favorably amongst the congress attendees. Their research focused on the outcome of different surgical techniques used in liver transplantation. They are both looking forward to present their research at the International Liver Transplant Society meeting this year in Prague, Czech Republic.
This is the first time that this award has been awarded to an Azerbaijanian medical professional. We are proud to report on their accomplishments and look forward to hearing about success in the future.
